Amber Gain is the co-owner of Purse Party Inc. She started with the company in December of 2006 as a consultant. She loved conducting the parties and sharing the business with other women, especially stay-at-home moms who needed extra money. In December of 2007, the opportunity arose for her and another consultant to purchase the company. Amber called her husband and he immediately said, "Do it." He knew she had a true love for Purse Party and that it was her calling. She has been helping others getting started hosting purse parties ever since.

LTK: How long have you been in the purse party business and how did you get started?

AG: I was a stay-at-home mom with a one-year-old and looking for something to make extra money, get out of the house and meet other women. I had heard of purse parties being done in the area, but they were the knock-off purses, and I wanted a legal way to run my own purse party business. I looked into several different companies and made the decision to go with Purse Party Inc. I loved the products, compensation plan, and exciting Ground Floor Opportunity. I was the first consultant in the state of West Virginia. That was very exciting to me to bring a new company to the area.

AG: Purse Party Inc. sells the latest trends in purses and jewelry. We offer high quality products at great prices and are up-to-date with the latest fashion trends like those you see in fashion magazines and on the runway.

LTK: When getting started hosting purse parties, how much does it cost? Did you have to purchase a kit?

AG: With Purse Party Inc. you do have to purchase a starter kit. You can purchase a kit for $99 or $199. The first option is a business supply only kit. This gives you all of the business supplies you need and a website for free for the first 3 months. You can then purchase one of each product at 50 percent off. This gives you the option to pick and choose which products you would like.

The second option for $199 gives you $500 in purses and jewelry and all your business supplies. If you would like more products you can purchase an add-on kit for $299 and receive an additional $1000 in products!

LTK: How does a Purse Party business work for consultants?

AG: With Purse Party Inc. you have the option to sell through home parties, online sales, catalog sales, and trade shows. Consultants do most of their sales through home parties where hostesses can get their favorite items free or at half price.

Consultants will also do trade shows and fashion shows to generate new leads for the business. They can also earn extra income by sponsoring other consultants and building their own team.

LTK: What kind of incentives do you offer hostesses for booking a Purse Party?

AG: A hostess with Purse Party inc. will receive items free or at half price. Purse Party Inc. also offers varying incentives for hostesses to book. This past March we had a contest where one lucky hostess won a trip to Cancun! Consultants also offer extra incentives for hostesses to book. Anything from a pair of free sunglasses to a purse caddy!

LTK: We've talked about incentives for hostesses. What kind of incentives are there for consultants? Can you earn awards like trips or vehicles?

AG: Purse Party Inc. offers a variety of incentives to their consultants. We offer various trip incentives, cash incentives, as well as the opportunity to earn all of your samples for free.
