Marina,

I’m not totally sure if I understand what you want to do. If you are theming your party around the idea of NFL jeans, you might want to consider denim as your table covering and NFL logos on the napkins and plates. For invitations you can either go with the NFL theme or design your own invitation to look like a pair of jeans.

This sounds like a great party theme!

If you’re going with a football theme, Marina, we have an article on football party invitations that might give you some ideas.  However, if the party is next week, you’ll want to get those out as soon as possible, perhaps by handing them to the guests personally rather than relying on the mail to get to them in time.

An NFL party theme could be a lot of fun. If you live in the same town as her favorite team, run to their fan shop and pick up some cheap pennants and team posters as wall decoration. Rub-on tattoos of the mascot and plastic mugs for alcohol are great little favors the guests can use at the party.

Make a cake in the shape of a football (make a rectangular cake and cut out oblong shape, frosting it in chocolate; then add a few white stitches) for a perfect ending to a football party!

An NFL party is a very good idea, to notify your guest of the theme you might want to incorporate that theme in your party invitations. I found that it is hard to find birthday invitations of a specific them or even try to get them customized.

Well if this s just a general NFL Themed party, why not send out party invitations that look like a superbowl ticket? You can shape your cake to look like a football, they sell pans out there in that shape. Then for fun you can then maybe do trivia cards as favors filled with football facts or facts of your freinds favorite team.
To find out what this years superbowl design looks like, (Im not totally sure its posted yet but you can take alook, or better yet you can see past logos and if your friends team ever made it to the superbowl you can use that logo.) Go to NFL.com

Good luck!

You might also want to get pompoms for the guests to use when singing happy birthday to the guest of honor. Color coordinate them with the rest of the decorations and it’ll seem like cheerleaders on the sideline of a game. Have a great party!

I came upon a new idea to make outstanding gifts to my friends on my birthday party to be celebrated in a fortnight from now. I am planning to order Tuxedo T shirts for all the friends that will look unique and exclusive. The prices are not high either and I am looking forward to the day when everyone is going to be taken by surprise. I came across these T Shirts from a website http://www.greenturtle.com/Funny/Humor/Tuxedo-T-Shirt-1207/ . Will let you know the reaction soon!

Themed shirts sound like a fun party favor idea, Dannie.  To go along with the football theme we were talking about, I wonder if getting jerseys would be feasible?  That could get expensive, though.  At the very least, you could get jersey-like shirts with team names and big numbers.  Maybe put fun nicknames for your friends on the back?
