-- Contributed by: Lorie Witkopcould we have more games!!!!!!!!!!!
-- Contributed by: sashaAlthough "7 minutes in heaven" is a classic teen party game, I would caution against playing it at any event. It can lead to embarrassing moments, hurt feelings, and the participants being more intimate with members of the opposite sex than they're ready for, all because of peer pressure in the name of "playing a game."

It sounds like you're off to a great start in your party planning. I think having some games on hand is a good idea. Cranium is a good game for groups, and there are several versions, so you can find the one you'd have the most fun with. Card games are simple to set up, whether you bring a regular deck of playing cards or something like Uno. You can also ask your friends to bring their favorite games, so you can be sure to have something on hand they'd enjoy.

-- Contributed by: Lorie Witkopim having a Spring break party for me and all my friends my friend and i are hosting and its going to be coed its our first spring break party but we plan to add this to our annual party list... were having a bunch of friends come over and we plan to make it killer. alot of fun games are listed here but also some are kinda lame. we live in florida so its pretty warm tank goodness... but were having everybody in a bathingsuit dress code. water treated game and wipped and shaving cream involved :) we live on the water so it should be fun. more fun games are a similarity game its were you get in a circle and you start naming things that some people might have in common with each other and for each phrase that applies to you, you get up and sit on the space nxt to u... if somebody is already there then u sit on there lap and you do this until it gets stupid or until ur all on one lap or you can do it laying down... its really fun we play it at our churches and schools but this is the first coed party or one of "our" parties that were using it on ive used it in other parties but this a first for this group... if ur looking for a really fun time try this it seems to work but hey be careful with the guys they might feel like talking about the "first thing that pops up"...
-- Contributed by: somebody that LOVES to partyI am turning 13 soon and so far i have my theme down. "club themed party," disco balls, food, drinks..i mean EVERYTHING...but entertainment. Im not really good in that area. I want games just incase the guys get bored of dancing or something. Video games-I cant do because we wont be at my house. My family will be renting a place for the dance floor. Should I bring things along with me to keep some people entertained? ...I am totaly lost, help me!
-- Contributed by: MichelleIn many ways, asking guys to your party is just like asking girls. When you start passing out invitations, just hand them to everyone, guys and girls alike. You might want to consider the guys when you're picking out your invitations and not pick out anything too pink or frilly.
If you're embarrassed about passing out invitations to guys at school, you could mail them to them. Although a paper invitation is traditional, you can also use the technology at your disposal to invite guys to your party in a more casual way - send them a text message or email, chat with them online, or leave a message on their MySpace pages.
Hope this helps, Kiley. Have a great party!
-- Contributed by: Lorie WitkopHey, planning a bday party and need to know how to ask guys to my party!
-- Contributed by: KileyOne outdoor activity that comes to mind, Sara, is having a bonfire, if your town allows it. This can go along with roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, and even a singalong, if you think your friends would be into it. Another outdoor idea is to have a "drive-in" movie by renting a projector and showing a movie on a large screen, a sheet, or even the side of your house.

-- Contributed by: Lorie WitkopHey, i am turning 16 and i plan to have a backyard party!! It will be co-ed and i have groups of friends from school, church, band, and dance, that do not know each other!!! There will be about 15 people there, and at the end of the night the guys will go home, and some of the girls will stay for a sleepover!! HELP!! I NEED GAMES AND ACTIVITES!!!
-- Contributed by: SaraYou don't need a lot of money, Amber, to have a fun party. I think creating a theme can be a great way to set the stage for a memorable event. If you're having a coed party, you should also try to have something that would appeal to both the guys and the girls. So if the girls are having fun with makeovers, maybe the boys could play some video games. Some of our other teen party articles might help you think of ideas:
I also like the mall party idea Mary brought up in the comments below. It seems like a unique idea if you're looking for an activity. But you don't necessarily need to leave the house. Just hanging out with friends and watching a movie or dancing can be all you need.
-- Contributed by: Lorie WitkopOk. You see I'm turning 14, and I want a COOL birthday party! It's going to be coed, and not everyone knows eachother! I have never really had a REAL birthday so I want to make this the best one yet. I need to go cheap though, because I'm not very rich. Will you please help me?
-- Contributed by: amberOur article on 13th Teen Birthday Party Ideas might be useful to you.
For the mall party theme, a popular idea seems to be a scavenger hunt. You create a list of things to find and then send your guests off in pairs or small groups. Since you're concerned about cost and because it also adds to the challenge, set a budget, perhaps one dollar per party guest, for buying their scavenger hunt finds. You can also avoid spending money by giving each group a camera or a notepad to record their finds instead.
You can also take advantage of what your local mall offers, like a movie theater, arcade, or beauty salon. You or a parent should check with the mall before your party to make sure your plan fits in with the rules. For instance, some stores don't allow shoppers to take pictures and some malls have rules about groups teens shopping without chaperones.
One other idea I like is to make the invitations look like credit cards, to play up the theme.
If you'd like it to be a boy/girl party, I'm not sure if the boys would be as interested in a mall trip as the girls, but you know your friends best. Using your half mall/half something else idea, maybe you and the girls could go shopping first and then invite the boys over for pizza and a movie night at your house afterwards.
Hope these ideas are helpful and that you have a great birthday!
-- Contributed by: Lorie WitkopI want a boy/girl party that can have a lot of people come, but cheap, do you have any ideas for a big bash, or a mall themed party. I am turning 13 and i am a girl. Half mall half something else? please help!

-- Contributed by: TaylorSorry these ideas didn't work for you, Liana. While it's not the most original idea, Truth or Dare can be a great teen party game. If you want guests to have a chance to get close, passing games can be fun. You can either pass Lifesavers on toothpicks held in your mouth or place an orange or foam ball under your chin and pass it from person to person.
