About Bachelorette Parties

A final farewell to being single is the message behind a bachelorette party. It is one last chance to spend a night with the girls before you get married. In doing so, you will want it to be memorable and fun. Having a game or two at your party will break the ice and liven things up. There are many ideas to consider including holding a scavenger hunt.

Bachelorette Party Scavenger Hunt Ideas

Send the bride-to-be and her friends on a scavenger hunt as part of the bachelorette party. Plan ahead and get a tiara or veil for the bride-to-be to wear so she is easily identified as the guest of honor. You could also get coordinating t-shirts with a silly phrase on them so that everyone knows you are all together and on a mission. To begin the scavenger hunt, each guest will receive a list with items that they are expected to find. Each item can be assigned a point value and the person with the most points in the end is the winner.

List of Scavenger Hunt Items

Once you have come up with a good mix of items for the scavenger hunt, put them together in a list. Be sure to include both innocent and obnoxious and embarrassing items on the list. Then assign points beside each item. The more embarrassing an object or situation, the more points you will be awarded for an item. Print out a list of scavenger hunt items and hand one to each person attending the party. The hunt can either be done solo or in teams. Some items to include on your list are:

  • Book of matches from a bar
  • Guy's phone number on a napkin
  • Get a guy to buy you a shot
  • Kiss 5 different guys on the cheek
  • Get your picture taken behind the bar
  • Dance with a complete stranger
  • Buy a condom from the bathroom vending machine and hand it to a stranger
  • Collect 10 business cards
  • Get a guy to serenade the bride-to-be
  • Get a temporary tattoo
  • Have your photo taken with the oldest man in the bar
  • Pay for a drink in all pennies
  • Spank a cute guy on the bum
  • Get your picture taken on a motorcycle
  • Perform a lap dance
  • Put lipstick on a stranger

Remember to be as creative as possible and make the list as daring as you like. The more people you get involved the better. The item possibilities are endless so tailor them to whatever you prefer. If the party is going to take place at a bar or club, include items that can be found at that specific location.

Depending on the type of bachelorette party scavenger hunt ideas you are considering, there are several things for you to keep in mind. If you are going to be traveling to more than one location, be sure to have a designated driver. You can be responsible yet still have a blast at the party. Bring a camera along to capture the fun moments and print out the photos to give the bride-to-be as a memento from the evening. Remember to keep the night fun and enjoyable to all involved and most important be sure that the bride-to-be feels comfortable and is having a great time as well.
